You will be part of the Network Planning team, responsible for planning and ensuring quality of MediaRing’s global VoIP infrastructure.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure the usage efficiency of global network resources
• Ensure adequate capacity for the company’s global VoIP infrastructure
• Plan and ensure high availability of the company’s global VoIP infrastructure
• Analyze, plan and deploy appropriate security policy to secure the infrastructure
• Evaluate and introduce new technology to improve the quality of existing infrastructure

• Degree in Computer Science, with professional certifications such as CCNP or CCDP
• At least 6 years’ working experience in managing LAN, WAN and public Internet environment
• Experience in implementing Cisco Network Architecture such as BGP, routers, data switch and Access Server
• Strong knowledge of data communication, especially TCP/IP and Internet-related technology
• Good knowledge of VoIP, PSTN operation, network and system security, and Unix operating system
• Good communication skills
• Proficient bilingual skills in speaking and writing

As a target-driven and highly-motivated individual, you will drive monthly sales to achieve the assigned sales target. Working closely with the internal processing/technical team, you will not only help to ensure that our customers' needs are provided on a timely basis, but you will also be required to respond to and recruit new leads assigned. Job Requirements

You will provide consultation services for partners to sell or deploy MediaRing services.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain strong customer relationships with the partners and understand their technical requirements
• Establish a secondary interface with R&D team on specifications and requirements accumulated from the partners’ feedback on ways to constantly improve various services
• Maintain profit margin to the overall VoIP business
• Design, implement and service networking technologies, platforms and products
• Work closely with sales team with regards to prospects on interconnecting with VoizNet
• Co-ordinate the provision of circuits with carriers/partners to interconnect with various VoIP gateways, not restricting to CISCO and Quintum
• Manage turnkey deployment projects from feasibility studies to delivery, training and documentation

• Good working experience and knowledge in VoIP, telecom networks, Cisco gateways, routers, switches and firewalls
• Intermediate knowledge of Unix, Linux and Windows systems, especially Linux
• Intermediate/Advanced knowledge of networking is a must whilst CCNA is a plus

Major Duties and Responsibilities

You are an organized individual with an excellent eye for detail. In this role, you will troubleshoot Informix database errors, establish critical performance parameters and develop monitoring tools/scripts to monitor the health of Informix database on a daily basis.

As part of your job, you will also fine-tune the performance of the Informix database as it grows in size and complexity. In addition, you will be required to backup the database periodically, plan database disaster recovery, strategize and execute database migration strategies, as well as enhance and optimize overall database design and structure.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
• At least 5 years of working experience as Informix database administrator.
• Well-versed in Unix operating systems, especially Solaris.
• Excellent communication skills and able to work independently.

• Issue and process Sales Orders.

To manage and expand existing base of corporate accounts to achieve targeted sales turnover.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop opportunities to secure new corporate accounts for MediaRing IDD services, through direct marketing (i.e. cold calling, referrals, trade shows, etc) to expand base of corporate accounts.
• Promote revenue growth among existing base of corporate accounts through a process of continuous interaction and understanding of customers' requirements.
• Build and maintain good working relations with corporate accounts and obtain constant feedback on service quality and market information.
• Conduct periodic service review of corporate accounts to ensure cost-effectiveness of service plans of corporate accounts.
• Monitor and analyze customer performance for existing base of corporate accounts on a continual basis, to identify any growth or reduction in revenue and take action accordingly.
• Explore and recommend new strategies of sales for the expansion of business in the commercial market.
• Work with internal departments to provide and maintain pre-sale and post technical and service support.

Job Requirements

• Diploma in Business/Sales & Marketing or the equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in the telecommunications industry or related field.

Unix Systems Administrator

You will be part of our global infrastructure team, responsible for UNIX systems administration.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Linux and Sun Solaris administration tasks in development and production environments.
• Responsible for installation/configuration and maintenance of Mediaring’s proprietary voizenet software which runs on Linux and Solaris. ( Training will be provided )
• Be responsible for some network equipments administrator tasks ( Cisco router, switch, firewall )
• Build tools and scripts to automate the installation and troubleshooting of the systems

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent job experience.
• 2-5 years of experience in Linux and Solaris operating systems.
• RedHat Linux (ver 9, ES3,4,5) and Solaris (ver 8,9 & 10).
• Apache, MySQL, Postfix, BIND, NTP, Shell scripting(bash,ksh,Perl), TCP/IP, nmap, Ethereal, etc.
• Excellent Linux troubleshooting skills.
• Network troubleshooting skills; comprehensive understanding of network protocols like TCP/IP.
• Excellent knowledge with open-ssh and Tectia-SSH server/client software.
• Analyze, plan and deploy appropriate security policy to secure the infrastructure.
• Basic Shell scripting knowledge in bash/ksh or Perl.
• Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time.
• Excellent communication skills and a team worker
• On call on rotating basis.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience with Nagios, Cacti, and other network monitoring tools
• Experience in integrated mixed environments (Solaris, and Linux)
• Deliver new ideas and solutions for creating a faster and better systems environment

Desirable Skills:

• Kickstart and Jumpstart.
• Experience in Linux kernel build, rpm package build and Solaris package stream.
• Experience in VOIP/telecomm services or a related field
